A batch of 19 students from Government ITI, Nellore has undergone CNC-Turner (Foundation level) training course at the Sri City based Technical Skill Development Institute (TSDI), during May 6-18, 2019.

Tirupati: A batch of 19 students from Government ITI, Nellore has undergone CNC-Turner (Foundation level) training course at the Sri City based Technical Skill Development Institute (TSDI), during May 6-18, 2019. The course was designed covering the basics of CNC machine, Programming, Tooling and CNC Programme cycles and safety. All the trainees were provided free accommodation and food.

A two-weeks summer vacation training in Micro Soft (MS) Office for 9th and 10th class students of local Government Schools, that commenced on 13th May was being attended by 16 students. The course will be concluded on May 20th. A batch of thirty students have already undergone the course.

TSDI, which was established in May 2017 with an aim to develop skilled manpower in tune with the demand of the industries, in a tie-up with Siemens and Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC), offers skill training to students of high schools, ITIs, Polytechnic and Engineering colleges in the region.
