CM Jagan's government has got yet another credit in the process of reverse tendering. The government has saved 83.8 crores in cell phone service tenders. The government has invited bids for the purchase of 2,64,920 cell phones for the employees of village and Ward volunteers. APTS has come forward to provide postpaid services for three years. The company, which stands as L-1, coded 317.61 crores. The reverse tendering was carried out by the same company with a bid of Rs 233.81 crore. However, the experiment by CM succeeded unexpectedly.

AP govt, which has adopted this method in many projects in Pollavaram, has been heavily funded. The government has initiated reverse tendering of all government contracts. The government has invited several companies for 2,64,920 cellphones for village and ward volunteers. On November 30, the Government of Andhra Pradesh Technology Services was urged for the bid, which quoted Rs 317.61 crore. This was followed by reverse tendering and this time the same company bid Rs 233.81 crore, which means that the initial bidding is Rs. 83.8 crore short of quotes.

The cell phone provided by AP Government Volunteers has a one year warranty, 3GB RAM, 32GB memory, and the latest features like an octa-core processor. Mobile software will also be provided. The company that has bid for three years of Master Data Management offers Type "C" or Micro USB to Micro USB Converter, Tampered Glass, Back Cover and Maintenance for up to three years.
