Kadapa: Crop Cultivator Act yields excellent results for farmers
The Crop Cultivator Right Act (Panta Sagudaru Hakkula Act) brought by the state government on 23rd September related to lend crop loans to the tenant farmers turned boon for them as around 2.5lakh tenant farmers would have get crop loans in Kadapa district.

Crop period not exceeded more than 11 months as such rule will not hit the legal right of landowner, Crop holder (Tenant Farmer ),should have own government schemes like Crop Insurance, Input Subsidy, and loans lend by Cooperative banks.
For several years tenant farmers to secure crop loans from the banks for various reasons importantly owner of the land reluctant to signed the papers as they fear such procedure might have reasoned to lost their legal rights once they committed behalf of tenant farmers.
This was the main reason only 555 farmers able to secure crop loans against 1200 farmers approached the bankers for 2017-18 year. Really CCRA is a good opportunity to the tenant farmers as it will avoid us approaching private money lenders for loans at an abnormal rate of interest". Thanks to the state government of its initiative in introducing such act for the benefit of the tenant farmers" K.Venkata Ramana Reddy Venkata Setty Palle village of Badvel Mandal told .
During the regime of TDP government assured the bankers behalf of the tenant farmers by declaring them as Official Ayacut Farmers but bankers failed to turned positively over the government's proposal as very few tenant farmers were able to secured crop loans with hard effort.
But the latest guidelines of the YSR government which specify both landowners, tenant farmer and VRO of consent village compulsory signed the papers so as banker consider the proposal in lending loans.. Once farmer avail crop loan he will be declared eligible for having RS 12,500 under Rythu Barosa scheme and other farm-related benefits from the both central and state governments.
"This concept is good but the problem is the implementation of CCRA in proper manner. The previous government also had done the laborious exercise over the same issue but failed to convince the bankers and landowners." said AP Rythu Sangam district secretary B. Dastagiri Reddy. He said there will be need of maximum canvasing over the CCRA in the interest more tenant farmers availing loans from the banks.
