Kadapa: Police seized Rs 18,000 worth Ganja by arresting two persons
Police arrested two persons allegedly responsible for supplying banned Ganja and recovered Rs 18,000 worth 1.75kgs of Ganja from them on Sunday.
Kadapa: Police arrested two persons allegedly responsible for supplying banned Ganja and recovered Rs 18,000 worth 1.75kgs of Ganja from them on Sunday. The accused were identified as J.Ramesh Kothapalle village of Khajipet mandal, Syed Sameen Gandhinagar Mydukuru town.
Addressing press conference at Mydukuru, DSP S.Vijayakumar Said following tip of police have conducted raids on the house of accused Syed Sameen located in Gandhinagar area in Mydukuru town seized the banned material.
The DSP detailed that duo have brought the Ganja from Peduru of Visakhapatnam through unknown persons at Rs 2,500 per kg and through train to Nandyal of Kurnool district later transporting it to Khajipet through busses. The DSP said Syed Sameen is responsible in supplying the material to surrounding areas. Mydukuru CI Madhu Sudhana Goud and others were present.
