Visakhapatnam: A series of awareness lecture programmes was held for the members of residents' welfare associations (RWAs) of zone-IV on Saturday by Andhra Pradesh Federation of Resident Welfare Associations (APFERWAS).
Among other topics, solid waste management, water conservation and methods of rainwater harvesting were highlighted at the meeting.
About 150 RWS members attended the programme that was held and zone-IV.
Speaking on the occasion, Municipal Commissioner M. Hari Narayanan opined that people's active involvement, awareness in keeping their neighbourhood clean, only can win laurels to any city.
