Lord Rama gives darshan to devotees in Kaliyamardhana Alamkaram at Vontimitta brahmotsavam
As part of ongoing brahmotsavams of Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy temple at Vontimitta Lord Rama as given darshan to the devotees in Kaliyamardhana Alamkaram on Saturday.
The Utsava idol of Rama decorated with different flowers in Kaliyamardhana Alamkaram later the he was taken in a procession four Mada streets of the temple. Cultural artists in various capacities like Kerala bhajana groups, Kolatam groups etc participated remain special attraction in the event.
Later temple priests performed Snapanatirumanjanam to Utsava idols of Sita-Rama, Lakshmana amidst chanting of Vedic hymns.
Snapanatirumanjanam was performed between 11:00 to 12:00 pm to the by chanting Purusha suktham, Sri Suktham finally the event was concluded with Manthra Pushpam spell bound the devotees.
According to temple authorities in the evening Lord Rama along with his consort Sita rides on AshwaVahanam.
