Massive rally for Amaravati as capital tomorrow
On the occasion of completion of one year of agitation for the continuation of Amaravati as the capital city of the State, Amaravati Parirakshana Samiti is organising a massive rally on Tuesday( December 15) in the city and urged the people in general and members of all political parties except YSR Congress Party to make it a big success by take part in it.

The joint action committee of the Amaravati Parirakshana Samiti (APS) which met here on Sunday with its conveners A Siva Reddy and G Tirupati Rao in the chair, exhorted people to participate in large numbers in the Amaravati Parirakshana Padayatra in the city.
Several women's organisations of APS, people's associations, members of various political parties, Dalit and Bahujan organisations, workers, farmers and traders associations participated in the meeting at the APS state office here on Sunday.
Convener of JAC Siva Reddy addressing the gathering said that the JAC has been with the farmers and farm workers who have been agitating for the last one year. He appealed to the people to participate in large numbers in the rally to do justice to the farmers who sacrificed their land for the sake of the capital city. He said that the people all over the State are demanding only Amaravati as the capital city. He made it clear that the agitation would not be stopped at any cost.
Co-convener G Tirupati Rao said that the farmers have been agitating for the last one year and the people should remember that it is everyone's capital city. He appealed to one and all to participate in the massive rally.
He said that a massive public meeting would be held at Uddhandarayunipalem on January 17 where Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for the capital city.
Sunkara Padmasri, Gadde Anuradha, P Durga Bhavani, Chennupati Usha Rani, former MLA Tangirala Saumya and the JAC members also participated in the meeting.
