MVGR hosts orientation programme for NSS students in Vizianagaram
On the occasion of National Service Day, MVGR College of Engineering (A), NSS unit has organised NSS volunteers orientation programme.
Vizianagaram: On the occasion of National Service Day, MVGR College of Engineering (A), NSS unit has organised NSS volunteers orientation programme. Jana Vignana Vedika Activist Venkat Rao attended as a chief guest. Venkat Rao emphasised the need of service and how the attitude of service being imbibed and groomed.
He said one should realise that there was dire need of service and it has no limitation or boundaries. Speaking on the occasion, dean-students S Mohan Kumar exerted that service should not to be the trend of the day to make social networking status but it should be for the sake of service and from the bottom of the heart volunteer services should not be a constrained with academic limitations.
Vice-Principal Dr Y M C Sekhar expressed his happiness over students motivation to be volunteers and asked the volunteers to render selfless services and NSS programme officer Dr B Sarvarao given the mission of NSS unit and its objectives for rendering their services to society. Librarian Head K Uma Mahesh Yadav, faculty members and students participated.
