Chittoor: District Superintendent of Police (SP) Ch V Appala Naidu reiterated that there was no compromise as far as public security is concerned. Addressing a gathering after launching an exhibition of arms to create awareness on technological devices being used by police among people, he said the department was adopting modern equipment and using CCTV cameras to crack the cases.
He appealed to public to purchase devices like emergency alarms and others to prevent crimes. The SP also said the Locked House Monitoring System in the district was yielding good results. ASP K Krishnarjunudu, DSPs K Eswara Reddy, Thippeswamy and Sudhakar Reddy were present.
