MLC Ramu Suryarao has expressed concern over children not getting education in spite efforts of the governments to extend education to all.
Eluru: MLC Ramu Suryarao has expressed concern over children not getting education in spite efforts of the governments to extend education to all. He participated as chief guest at the notebook distribution function jointly organised by AVR Vijnana Kendram, Tippani Lakshmi Kantam Trust, Tummala Jhansilakshmibai Memorial Clinic and Vasudha Foundation here on Sunday.
Delivering his speech, the MLC said that as part of his responsibility, he has been imparting education to a group of children who cannot afford it because of poverty. Presiding over the meeting, CITU city secretary M Srinivasarao lauded efforts of the donors for coming forward to extend help to the poor children.
CPM city secretary P Kishore expressed grief over the government policy under which the students of government schools would only get textbooks and parents have to purchase notebooks in market.
