Plantation drive taken up at PHC
A sapling plantation programme was taken up at the Mahalakshmi Nagar Public Health Centre [ PHC] at Turangi in Kakinada Rural by All Is Well organisation on Tuesday.
Kakinada: A sapling plantation programme was taken up at the Mahalakshmi Nagar Public Health Centre [ PHC] at Turangi in Kakinada Rural by All Is Well organisation on Tuesday.
East Godavari joint collector-2 G Raja Kumari, during her visit to the PHC, noticed that there was no proper power supply to the place which takes care of public health in rural sector. She also noticed that not a single plant there in the vast compound of PHC.
The JC -2 immediately directed the officials concerned for restoration of power in the PHC. She also asked the All-Is-Well organisation to take up the sapling plantation drive on a large scale.
The chairman of All-is-Well NGO, Kishore Kumar immediately responded and plated the saplings with his team. Medical Officer of PHC Dr Prashanti thanked the organisation for excellent services provided in conducting the plantation drive in the entire compound . Staff of the PHC also participated in the sapling plantation along with the Joint Collector-2 Rajakumari.
