Police personnel deployed in large numbers to maintain peace in Nellore
District Police imposed Sec 144 in the entire district from Nov 9 to 11 and huge police forces were deployed in city limits for preventing any untoward instances in connection with the judgment on Saturday by the Supreme Court on Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi issue.

Local RDO Sk Hussain Saheb organiseed a peace meeting with representatives of various religions for maintaining peace and harmony in connection with the judgement.They also banned any gatherings above 5 people, public meetings, celebrations with firecrackers, using loudspeakers, drums etc.
Mobile police parties have been deployed at all important places in the city for checking vehicles and also to respond to the issues after the Judgement. SP Aishwarya Rastogi monitored the situation. Senior police officers also were posted at important places for supervising the forces.
