Kadapa: Former minister DL Ravindra Reddy has said that any political party must pay costly lapses if encourage corruption as people are wise and they would teach the lesson inappropriate time. Addressing press conference at Proddaturu on Thursday the former minister recalled that TDP distanced to power in 2019 elections because it has either directly or indirectly responsible for encouraged the corruption.

He said during the TDP regime former TTD chairman and Mydukuru in charge P.Sudhakar Yadav looted the public money in various methods backed by his relative and former finance minister Y.Ramakrishnudu. Related to arrested of TDP leader R.Venkata Subba Reddy, the former minister said that it was a small issue as both YCP, TDP groups lodged complaints on each other in the police stations.

Commenting over new sand policy introduced by the YSR congress government, the former minister said governments would introduce all schemes in the interest of people but the problem implementing them in a proper manner. If the government fails to implement sand policy in a proper manner it would have face people's anguish incoming local body elections. However, he admitted that it was true that he tried for gaining TDP ticket from Mydukuru constituency but was ignored by party due to various reasons.
