Vijayawada: Film actor Posani Krishna Murali assumed charge as chairman of Andhra Pradesh State Film Television and Theatre Development Corporation at APSFTV TDC office at Pandit Nehru Bus stand in Vijayawada on Friday. He took charge amidst cheers of the YSRCP MLAs Perni Venkataramaiah (Nani), Malladi Vishnu, I & PR Commissioner and FDC MD Tumma Vijay Kumar Reddy, APSFL Chairman P Goutham Reddy, Telugu & Sanskrit Academy chairperson N Lakshmi Parvathi, producers Ambica Krishna, C Kalyan and others.

Speaking on the occasion, Posani Krisna Murali said that he would strive for the development of the film industry in Andhra Pradesh. He further said, ''I don't know how much good I will do for the film industry, but I won't' do harm. I came to politics from the student stages through Goutham Reddy. I have known Jagan for 11 years, but I never met him. CM Jagan came from the masses. So I like him very much. He is sweetest, hottest, honest and nothing but Everest. I will be with Jagan till my last breath," he said. MLA Perni Nani said that the government would develop the film industry in Vizag in above 100 acres.

On the other hand, many persons belonging to film industry, exhibitors, distributors and others congratulated Posani for assuming charge as APSFTV TDC Chairman.
