Kandukur: Technical Director Dr K Vijaya Srinivas (former Technical Manager of HCL) expressed happiness that the students of Prakasam Engineering College once again excelled in technical skills.
Addressing media on college premises here on Thursday, he said that selected students will work in the Wipro Hyderabad campus for the Google project.
As many as 200 final year students participated in the campus interview conducted by Wipro for two days on Tuesday and Wednesday and 69 were selected for the jobs through filtering at various stages.Correspondent Kancharla Ramaiah stated that selected students will be in the MNC Wipro rolls and have to work for the Google project.
At a time when there is a crisis in the recruitment of software jobs all over the world, it is heartening to note that a large number of Prakasam students have been selected for Wipro-Google.
He said that effort of Technical Director Vijay Srinivas in making the slogan of ‘Degree in One hand and job in other hand’ into reality is commendable.
