Rajamahendravaram: Special puja at temples to mark Bhishma Ekadasi
Special poojas were performed in all temples in the city in connection with celestial Bhishma Ekadasi here on Wednesday. The poojas were performed from the wee hours and hundreds of devotees had darshan of the presiding deities in the temples.

Sri Venugopala Swamy temple, Sri Venkateswara Swamy temples at AVA road, KVR Swamy road, Devi Chowk, Sri Ranganadha Swamy temple at Gowthami Ghat and Vankayalavari street, Asta Laksmi temple in Vankayalavari street etc were crowded with devotees.
Meanwhile, about 25,000 devotees had the darshan of Lord Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swamy at Annavaram and Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Vadapalli also crowded with devotees since 3 am. In Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple in Subramanya Mydanam chief priest Vadapalli Srinivasa Charyulu performed abhishekam and special poojas to the presiding deity.
