Rural SP S V Rajasekhara Babu on Sunday warned that the police would take stern action against those who create law and order problem in Guntur rural district.
Guntur: Rural SP S V Rajasekhara Babu on Sunday warned that the police would take stern action against those who create law and order problem in Guntur rural district.
Inspecting Gandhasiri village under Achampet mandal on Sunday, he called upon the voters not to misuse their vote and it is responsibility of every citizen to elect right person in the elections.
He said that department has already booked 30 bind over cases in Gandhasiri and warned that if anyone tries to create problems, they will book criminal cases and take stern action against them.
If necessary, the police will open rowdy-sheets against them also, he warned. The rural SP said that additional forces would be deployed to check untoward incidents and added that the Centre would deploy paramilitary forces in the district soon. He said so far 127 problematic villages were identified in Palnadu region of Guntur district and stepped up vigilance to check untoward incidents.
