Scouts, guides told to become role models
Kendriya Vidyalaya celebrated the World Thinking Day with great zeal and enthusiasm here on Saturday. The programme started with all faith prayer followed by paying tributes to Lord Baden Powel.

All Scout Guide Cubs participated in the faith prayer led by all trained Scouts Guide Cubs' teachers. Prof Dr KVSG MuralikKrishna of JNTU-K participated as chief guest on the occasion. He said that Scouts and Guides should become a model for society by their dedication. He explained that the students are the future of the nation. One's success depends on one's discipline and dedication, he said.
Kendriya Vidyalaya principal B Shekhar said that they celebrated the birthday of Lord Baden-Powell, founder of the Boy Scout movement and his wife Lady Olave Baden-Powell, founder of the Girl Guides movement. Scouts and Guides, Cubs and Bul Buls from various schools participated in the celebration.
