Kakinada: Special officer of SVEEP and AD of differently-abled and senior citizens welfare department KVV Satyanarayana asked the differently-abled people to utilise the app developed by Election Commission of India (ECI) for exercising their franchise.
Addressing the differently-abled at a programme, organised under the joint aegis of ECI and FM Radio 90, at the office of the welfare department on Thursday, the AD said that special arrangements have been made for these sections by providing wheelchairs and ramps for voting purpose.
The AD said that the electoral service app will help the differently-abled in exercising their franchise. SVEEP member and East Godavari coordinator for National Federation of Blind Ch Subba Rao asked the differently-abled to utilise the ECI app to cater to their needs.
