Stop cheap politics, focus on public issues: Jogi Ramesh tells Chandrababu Naidu
- Says Devineni Uma and others created an unnecessary scene at the demolished Praja Vedika structure as they have no other issue to pinpoint against the YSRCP government
- Says Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy fulfilled 90 per cent of promises made to people and spent over Rs 43,000 crore towards the welfare of weaker sections
Amaravati: It's ridiculous on part of the TDP to protest near illegal structure and it betrayed their bankruptcy of ideology and lack of interest in public issues, said YSRCP MLA Jogi Ramesh.
Speaking to media here, he said the TDP leaders, including Devineni Uma and others created an unnecessary scene at the demolished Praja Vedika structure on Thursday as they have no other issue to pinpoint against the YSRCP government.
"The demolished Praja Vedika was a symbol of TDP corruption and arrogance," he said.
Can they show one promise that the YSRCP government had not fulfilled over the past one year for which they could agitate, he asked.
Stating that the YSRCP government was working for the uplift of the SC, ST, BC and Minorities, Jogi Ramesh said that the opposition leaders were intentionally creating uncertainty in the State and it is quite pathetic to see them holding 'condolence meet' for a demolished structure.
In the one-year period, he said Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy fulfilled 90 per cent of promises made to people and spent over Rs 43,000 crore towards the welfare of weaker sections.
Ramesh pointed out the people were celebrating the one-year of good governance by the YSRCP government and were very much happy for the end of TDP rule.
In fact, it is one year of ending the evil rule of TDP leaders. "At least now Chandrababu Naidu should stop all the cheap political gimmicks and focus on public issues," he added.
