Survey on Wakf Board properties soon: Dy CM
The Deputy Chief Minister Sk Amzath Basha said that they would take measures for protecting the properties of the Wakf Board and notify the crucial details in the Gazette after conducting survey across the State.
Nellore: The Deputy Chief Minister Sk Amzath Basha said that they would take measures for protecting the properties of the Wakf Board and notify the crucial details in the Gazette after conducting survey across the State. He visited Bara Shaheed Dargah in the city on Thursday for witnessing the Roti Festival and offered prayers at famous AS Pet Dargah along with family members.
Speaking to the media, Basha stated that they would develop properties of Wakf Board after taking possession and utilise for the needs of minorities. He also said that measures would be taken to implement sub-plan meant for minorities in the State.
Basha has explained that they had allocated Rs 20 crore for constructing fencing for the protection of the properties owned by the Wakf Board.Amzath also informed that the YSRCP government had fulfilled 80 per cent of the assurances made during polls.
He mentioned they had increased support under YSR Shaadi Ka Tohfa scheme from Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 lakh. He also said honorarium of Peshwas, Imams and Mauzan has also been increased from Rs 8,000 to Rs 15,000.
Further, he inspected the arrangements for Roti Festival at the Dargah and enquired about the amenities being provided to them. He also inspected the Swarnala Tank. Atamkur RDO K Umadevi, Minority Welfare Officer Ismail Basha and others were present.
