TDP MLA Gadde Rammohan distributed free food at Anna Canteen in Krishnalanka on Saturday.
Vijayawada: TDP MLA Gadde Rammohan distributed free food at Anna Canteen in Krishnalanka on Saturday. As part of the protest, he distributed the food items to poor men. The party cadre staged a protest demonstration denouncing the government action in closing the Anna Canteens.
On the occasion, he said that former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu provided food to poorer sections at nominal prices through Anna Canteens. He said that the present government led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy closed the canteens in a short span of two months.
He wondered as to how Jagan Mohan Reddy claims the government was elected for poorer sections. He lamented that the government closed the Anna Canteens once after making a contrary statement in the Assembly. TDP leader Ganne Vekata Narayana and M Prasad were also present.
