According to police, Tempalli Mahesh,12, Shaik Nagur Hussain, 11-years, Puli Santosh Kumar, 10 -years, went to the canal for swimming. Unable to swim they were stuck in the mud in the canal. The locals noticed the bodies and informed their parents who rushed to the spot and retrieved their bodies.
While Mahesh, Nagur Hussain is studying 5th class, Puli Santosh is studying 4th class in the local Mandal Parishad Primary School.
A pall of gloom descended on Thummlacheruvu village.
