Kakinada: Additional municipal commissioner of Kakinada Ch Naga Narasimha Rao, as part of external visits, inspected 13th circle Pratap Nagar and Gandhi Nagar areas on Wednesday. During his visit, he found a trader using plastic carry bags and imposed Rs 4,000 towards penalty.
In this connection, he made it clear that traders should desist from using plastic carry bags which were banned. The AMC asked the traders to cooperate with the authorities in implementing total ban of plastic carry bags in the city and make the smart city free from plastic carry bags.
