Korukonda: Kadali Venkateswara Rao has assumed charge as north zone Deputy Superintendent of Police on Thursday, in the place of PS Narayana Rao who was promoted as Additional Superintendent of Police of Vizianagaram.
Venkateswara Rao was transferred from Machilipatnam and served for 29 years in Krishna district.
Korukonda Inspector P Vijay Kumar, Gokavaram and Sitanagaram sub-inspectors Chenna Rao, Sudhakar and other police officials greeted the new DSP.
Later, Venkateswara Rao asked the cops to work with dedication and commitment and respond to the people's problems immediately.
