Vijayawada: Awards presented for creating awareness on acupuncture
State Agriculture Mission vice-chairman MVS Nagireddy said that with the support of the people, they would try to establish Acupuncture Council.
Vijayawada: State Agriculture Mission vice-chairman MVS Nagireddy said that with the support of the people, they would try to establish Acupuncture Council. Nagireddy was the chief guest at certificate distribution programme to mark 'World Acupuncture Day' organised at Indian Organisation of Alternative Medicine (Indian OAM) here on Friday. He said Acupuncture medication costs less without any side effects is an effective medication.
About 140 people of Nehru Yuva Kendra who served for Acupuncture development and awareness were given national awards on the occasion. Dr Lukendra Pillai, Dr Kiranmai, A Ravi, S Subbarao, Dr AV Subramanyam and others were present.
