Vijayawada : A teenage girl, Vemuri Sai Akshara sets a new world record in mathematics by reciting square root of 6020 till the last decimal in five minutes and 12 seconds in the presence of the representatives of International Book of Records, OMG Book of Records.
The memento of the International Book of Records was handed over to Sai Akshara here on Monday. The class 10 student of Siddhartha Pubic School, Sai Akshara said that she aims to secure first place in the world Square Root rankings. He said that her parents Vemuri Bujji and Sujanasri encourage her at every step.
The multifaceted talented girl, she is also national level Archer. The project prepared by Sai Akshra has been selected for the Central government's Inspire awards- Manak.
As the chairperson of Rotary Interact Club of Vijayawada Midtown, she collected donations to provide geometry boxes to the students of the government schools in the city. Sai Akshara set up an astronomy club to introduce astronomy to the young people.
