Visakhapatnam: Review meeting on Swatchh Survekshan 2020

Visakhapatnam: GVMC Commissioner G Srijana urged the public to be aware of the Swachh Survekshan 2020 Survey which will start from January 4.

She conducted a review meeting with the officials concerned here on Monday and explained different parameters of the survey to be conducted next month.

Further, she stated the survey will be conducted based on various parameters, including star rating of free garbage cities and open defecation-free, among others.

This apart, the Municipal Commissioner also reviewed the status of the safety of commercial buildings. She instructed the officials to ensure all commercial buildings and complexes abide by the safety norms to prevent fire mishap. She also directed them to act against violators.
