Two persons – Tammineni Mahesh (26) and Gandi Asha Raju (22) - were arrested for stealing two-wheelers in three districts – Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram and Srikakulam.

Visakhapatnam: Two persons – Tammineni Mahesh (26) and Gandi Asha Raju (22) - were arrested for stealing two-wheelers in three districts – Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram and Srikakulam.

The special task force formed for the purpose recovered 26 vehicles from the accused. These vehicles were recovered from the accused for the past one year by the cops.

Sharing details with the media, Commissioner of Police R K Meena said that the accused involved in stealing of bikes to fund their vices. CI B Srinivasa Rao and Central Crime Station ACP D Surya Sravan Kumar, among others.

Meanwhile, Bevara Satyanarayana (23) was arrested for stealing mobile phones. A special team formed for to crack the case based on the complaint filed by K Lavanya Kumari. The accused used to snatch the cell phones in hostels and bachelors' rooms in and around Seethammapeta area since 2018.

The special team led by B Ludhar Babu, SI of Dwaraka crime police station, supervised by ADCP (Crime) Suresh Babu, arrested Satyanarayana and recovered gold ornaments and 20 mobile phones.
