The Meteorological department officials said it is likely to hit the southern Tamil Nadu coast on December 2 with which there is a chance of moderate rains in the north, south coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema districts. On the other hand, officials said, there will be dry weather in Telangana for today and tomorrow.

The Indian Meteorological Department has also said that the low pressure area in the Bay of Bengal will turn into an air bubble in the next 48 hours. The Indian Meteorological Department has forecasted low pressure in the southern Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal in Tamil Nadu in the next 48 hours. The southern states are expected to receive heavy rains from December 1 due to the impact.

It said that the cyclone would move westwards and hit the coastal region of southern Tamil Nadu and Pudduchery on December 2. The officials has forecasted heavy rains in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Mahe, Lakshadweep, southern coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh and southern Rayalaseema on Tuesday and Wednesday.
