Heavy rains have been experienced in many parts of AP for the past three days. There are rains in Nellore, Prakasam and Chittoor districts. The farmers are concerned about the premature storms.
Nellore farmers complain that the rains are disturbing in this crucial time of harvest. In Chittoor tomato, rice and groundnut crops are damaged. Prakasam and Nellore district farmers are mainly concerned about Kharif cultivation.
Even in Telangana, the climate has become cold. Several parts of the city were battered on Monday night. People are not coming out because of the cold weather. Meteorological department officials say the weather will be similar for another two days. On the other hand, heavy rains have killed 15 people so far. Heavy rains are also expected in Tamil Nadu over the next two days. People are being warned to be vigilant.
