This spooky stuff with a liberal dose of music and sizzle was a natural pick for the Hindi market where the dubbed versions had done well over time.
Speculations were rife that the Akshay Kumar- Kiara Advani starrer ' Laxmmi Bomb', a remake of 'Muni:2 – Kanchana' would be the first major release on OTT platform from the Hindi film industry. Now a few figures are in circulation in the Chennai media.
One report puts it Rs 125 crore, which is lesser than what it would have probably earned if it was a theatrical release. With the pandemic impact severe, it looks like that would be a deal, which is likely to be finalized.
