Mohanlal announces sequel of Lucifer
Mohanlal starrer Lucifer was the biggest success in the Malayalam film industry to date.
Mohanlal starrer Lucifer was the biggest success in the Malayalam film industry to date. The film which was released earlier this year has broken all the existing records at Kerala box office and collected more than Rs.150 crores in its total run. It also amassed a gross of Rs.50 crores in overseas.
Meanwhile, it was announced the other day that Lucifer will be getting a sequel soon, which is named Empuraan. Prithviraj Sukumaran, who directed Lucifer, will also take that responsibility for this sequel. Murali Gopy will be penning the script for it.
We still don't know whether it will be a continuation of the first part or has a different story. The first part included heavy star cast like Manju Warrier, Tivino Thomas and Vivek Oberoi. We have to see who will the makers rope in for this second part.
