Nagesh Kukunoor officially enters Tollywood
Hyderabadi born filmmaker Nagesh Kukunoor had made his debut way back in 1998 with Hyderbadi Blues.
Hyderabadi born filmmaker Nagesh Kukunoor had made his debut way back in 1998 with Hyderbadi Blues. That film is still considered as a masterpiece in the independent film arena of India. After that, he made many parallel films in Hindi but never made a film in Telugu.
After all these years, he finally signed his first Telugu project. Touted to be a sports romedy, this film is not titled yet. Keerthy Suresh and Aadhi Pinishetty will play the lead roles in it. Jagapathi Babu and Rahul Ramakrishna will be seen in other important roles. The filming will take place in Vikarabad and Pune.
Nagesh has already started shooting the movie. It is being produced by Sudheer Chandra and Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music for it. The makers are planning to release it in September this year. We have to see how Nagesh will fare with his debut Telugu flick.
