New Delhi: Telugu films have reaped a fortune in the 66th National Film Awards this time by winning seven awards in various categories.

'Mahanati' has won three awards.

Keerthy Suresh, who breathed life into the character of Mahanati Savitri, was adjudged the Best Actress across the nation. The movie is adjudged The Best Film in Telugu, besides getting an award in the Best Costumes category.

Nani's maiden production venture, 'Awe!' got two awards. The movie has won the Best Make-Up award and Best VFX award. Ram Charan's Rangasthalam and Sushanth – Rahul Ravindran's Chi La Sow have won one award each.

Rangasthalam has got the Best Sound Mixing Award and Chi La Sow has got the award in Best Original Screenplay category.

Kannada film KGF, also a successful film in Telugu, got the Best Action Film Award.
