This director has hurt the ego of JD Chakravarthy

Actor JD Chakravarti has been staying off the films these days and is working in only one film once in two years. He will be next in Hippi, which features Rx100 fame Karthikeya in the lead role. The team has held a press meet in Hyderabad the other day. Speaking at the event, JD showered praised on film's producer Kalaipuli S Thanu.

" Thanu is such a sweet person. Once I was injured on the sets of Arimanambi, the film he was producing. He immediately admitted me in the hospital and paid for all my bills. I am happy to work with him again," he said. " Director TM Krishna hurt my ego by asking me to come for a screen test. I attended to see how the director works, keeping aside all my ego. If I had not gone that day, I would've lost this wonderful role," he added.

JD also heaped praises on Karthikeya and film's heroine, Digangana Suryanvshi. He said that Karthikeya has a bright future and added Digangana is a hard worker and used to learn Telugu dialogues with so much dedication.
