Chiru donates 1 lakh to fireman

Megastar Chiranjeevi is truly a large-hearted man. Actually, for the last few days, rains have been lashing out in Hyderabad. Two days ago, a fireman named Kranthi Kumar risked his life and saved a four-year girl called Divya who fell in a waterlogged pothole in Hyderabad.

Knowing about the brave act, the 'Tagore' star not only appreciated the young fireman but also sent him a cheque of Rs 1 lakh through his brother-in-law Allu Aravind.

On the work front, Chiranjeevi is busy giving finishing touches to his latest film `Sye Raa' and also planning to do a film with ace director Koratala Siva for which script work is going on. The 60-year-old actor, who runs a blood bank and also extends financial help for the education of poor students, has now supported a valiant act.
