Next year Pongal season would be jampacked with some big releases.
Next year Pongal season would be jampacked with some big releases. Many films like Prabhas 20, Mahesh 26, Rajinikanth's Darbar, Kamal Haasan's Indian 2 and Balakrishna-KS Ravikumar's film are planning to be released during the festive season. At least three of them will make it for sure.
Now, another biggie has joined that race. It is none other than Bangarraju, starring King Nagarjuna. It will be a spin-off of Nag's 2016 hot family drama, Soggade Chinni Nayana. Kalyana Krishna, who directed the original, will also helm this spin-off. The shoot of this film will start mostly in August.
Apparently, Nagarjuna is planning to wrap up this film by December and is planning to release it during Sankranthi. Even SCN released during the same festive season and struck gold at the box office. Maybe Nag wants to follow the same sentiment once again.
