A few months back, Sai Pallavi made a Malayalam film called Athiran.
A few months back, Sai Pallavi made a Malayalam film called Athiran. This film was supposed to release simultaneously in both Tamil and Telugu as well, with the same title. But due to some unknown reasons, it didn't get released and after that, there was no news about the movie.
After a long time, it is now in the news again. Titled as Anukoni Athithi, the makers revealed that the movie is now gearing up for the release in Telugu soon. Touted to be a thriller, this film features Faahadh Fasil as the male lead. It is directed by Vivek. Noted producer Annamreddy Krishna Kumar bought the dubbing rights of this movie in Telugu.
Although the film unit released the pictures from the unit and changed release dates twice, we now have no update on the film. The buzz is that the makers called off the film's release.
Anukoni Athithi is based on the true events happened in Kerala during the 1970s. Prakash Raj and Atul Kulkarni played the other pivotal characters in the movie. Ghibran has composed the music for it.
