After a slew of duds like 'Jaanu' and 'Ranarangam,' young actor Sharwanand seems to be in a dilemma of sorts. "The actor is planning to take a break from shooting for 20 to 25 days to rejuvenate himself since he is low on confidence these days," says an industry source.
The actor was supposed to join the shooting of his recently launched movie 'Sreekaram,' a romantic family entertainer, directed by Kishore Reddy and produced by Raam Achanta and Gopi Achanta under 14 Reels Plus banner.
"Sharwanand is planning to go on a holiday to re-invent himself. He couldn't impress the audience as lover boy (Jaanu) as well as a gangster (Ranarangam). The actor is talking to his close friends and few directors about the roles that he has to explore hereafter," the source adds.
Actually, the handsome actor tasted big success with his comic-timing in 'Mahanubhavudu' and showcased his flair for comedy. "He received critical acclaim for his performance in 'Jaanu' so he was disappointed as the film failed to strike a chord with the Telugu audience.
Sometimes, actors tend to lose confidence a bit when the films they pin big hopes on go awry and tend to re-draw their strategies after an introspection," the source points out.
Actually, Sharwanand struck gold at the box office whenever he portrayed boy-next-door roles in films like 'Sathamanam Bhavati' but his action films haven't worked big time for quite some time.
