Workshop held on Outcome-Based Education
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Bhavan’s Vivekananda College has organised a workshop on Outcome Based Education on Thursday in its campus.
Hyderabad: The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Bhavan's Vivekananda College has organised a workshop on Outcome Based Education on Thursday in its campus.
The main objective of the programme was to provide a framework for collaborative curriculum planning.
Prof. Y. Ashok Principal of Bhavan's Vivekananda College and the Chairman of the Workshop welcomed the gathering and emphasised on the importance of outcome based education.
Dr.K.Sreelatha Reddy , Head Department of Commerce and In-charge of Teaching Learning Evaluation gave a brief insight on the workshop concept note. P Raja Sekhar Reddy, Asst Professor, Anurag Group of Institutions, Outcome Based Education Expert was the resource person for the workshop.
He gave a great exposure on Outcome Based Education, Blooms Taxonomy and provided guidelines for designing Programme Outcomes, Programme Specific Outcomes and Course Outcomes.
Faculty from Various colleges in and around the city participated in the workshop in large numbers.
