Hyderabad: Lecture held on design of experiments
Hyderabad: RBVR Reddy Women's College, Narayanaguda, Hyderabad, organised an extension lecture on the occasion of "National Statistics Day" was celebrated on Saturday.
The birth anniversary of Prof Prasanta Chandra Mahalanobis, a renowned and eminent statistician. The lecture was held on 'Design of Experiments and its applications ' and Ravi Kumar Dasari, the Chief Guest and Data Scientist of Dr Reddy's laboratories, delivered the lecture. The programme was initiated by College Secretary cum correspondent Prof Muthyam Reddy, Principal Dr K Sarada, Head of the Department Shweta Srivastava and Statistics co-ordinator S Jayasree along with other faculty members.
The students of Mathematics and Statistics attended the lecture and the Chief Guest briefly spoke about Professor Prasanta Chandra Mahalanobis on his contribution to the Statistics field.
