Hyderabad: The 2nd Edition of UnderGrad Summit, the first of its kind student conclave, in the city held at Shilparamam, Madhapur,was inaugurated by Jayesh Ranjan,Principal Secretary, IT Department, Government of Telangana.

Speaking on the occasion, he said it helps youth a lot and called upon the youth to become role models by emulating great leaders. There are many role models who are participating in the conclave shared their stories in the summit. The one-day UnderGrad Summit 2019 has awards, talks, panel discussions and innovative showcase which served as a platform for the future leaders of our society.

The aim of the summit, according to CharanLakkaraju, Founder of Stumagz, a digital campus ecosystem and co-founder of The UnderGrad Summit, was to bring all the colleges and students onto one platform for a better future of both.

The day-long event includes student speakers selected from the colleges and student performances, giving them the opportunity to showcase their talent on a platform with an attending audience of over 2,000 students.

UnderGrad is the creation of Stumagz, a digital campus ecosystem and Amplify, an exclusive production house for events and conferences. It is made up of a series of talks and a first-of-its-kind, youth and student award ceremony.

The summit called—"25 Under 25 Awards". Five young achievers below 25 years given away awards. Some of these awardees include Sreeja- Tennis Player; Krishna Tejasvi--Singer; Shashank Gangari--Cyber Security Expert; Vinay Durgam--Micro Artist; Phani, whonorganised youth assembly and became a sarpanch while in college; Taniya Begum--Girl Activist; Deepthi Sunaina--Social Media Entrepreneur and SravyaKanithi--Singer and others Giving details about the awards, Prem Kumar Vislawath Founder of Amplify, an exclusive production house for events and conferences and co-founder of The UnderGrad Summit, said, "It is often said that success starts manifesting itself when one is young. It is probably true, going by how most of the successful people started being successful in their 20s.

This holds true for any field, whether it leans towards creative arenas or technical or sports and more. 25 Under 25 is an attempt to recognise inspiring individuals who are under the age of 25 and are on the path to success."

Chintakindi Mallesham, the inventor of Ashu Machine, recipient of Padmasriaward shared his journey, challenges and success story and inspired 2000 plus youth who took part in the Summit. Pochampally weaver's son invented a machine to make life easier for his mother and won a Padma Shri in the process. Participating in a panel discussion on Innovation Prof Ramesh Loganathan said education is important it doesn't hurt. Speaking further, Prof Ramesh told startups not to wait to get validated that is not a right approach.

Dr Anaga, another panelist of the discussion, added that world is full of problems. Solving them is an innovation. Further she stated that today youth don't know what they want to do, but they know what they don't want to do.

Biteful, a venture started by student-turned-entrepreneur was launched. Biteful exports variants in Osmania biscuits, pride of Telangana to Japan and Asian countries, informed Sharan co-founder of the company.
