Visakhapatnam: Tackling the advantage of multidisciplinary University environment GITAM Deemed to be University is launching new MBA programs like MBA Hospital Management, MBA FinTech (Finacne+Technology), Executive MBA from the academic year 2020-21 informed here on Tuesday by GITAM Institute of Management Director Prof.Y.Gowtham Rao.
While releasing the admission schedule he informed that the university is presently offering 2 Year Post Graduate Programmes in MBA with specializations ranging from Marketing, Finance, Systems, Operations and exclusive programmes like MBA (HRM), MBA (International Business), MBA (International Banking and Finance),MBA (Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management), MBA (Business Analytics).
In view of existing MNCs requirements the institute has initiated to teach global accountancy courses like Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) along under graduate programmes, informed by Director. He said that the Institute has MOU with the above two professional bodies to teach the courses as part of UG curriculum. He briefed that the institute is offering 3 year under graduate programmes like BBA with Entrepreneurial Orientation, BBA (Management Accounting) with CIMA, UK, B.Com (Honours) with ACCA, UK, BBA (Business Analytics), BBA (FinTech), BBA (Logistics) with LSC and BBA (Financial Markets). He further informed that the candidates who are seeking admission to both PG and UG programmes shall need to qualify in GIM Online Test (GOT).The institute is also considering the CAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT/NMAT/GMAT scores and the candidates also need to attend for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI), he added. He informed that the institute is giving merit scholarships up to Rs.1.5 lakhs in the form of partial fee waiver.
