Indian Event Professional Association (IEPA) proudly presents 'One India Concert' - a virtual concert by Event Managers for Event Managers that take place on the World Event Managers Day - 31st May 2020 where 50+ artists will come together to present the biggest concert on a virtual platform.

A lot of futures and destinies were rewritten in India. Businesses, people, transport – life, even – went into a lockdown mode. It took one week to kick into people but kick in it did. That one was in this for the long haul.

Among all the businesses that were hit and hit hard, was the Event Management Industry.

As per reports shared by event management groups, 93% of all events to be held between April and July have been cancelled. A huge number of professionals from this industry - Scriptwriters, Video Editors, Technicians and skilled & non-skilled Workers – who depend on these events for a living are now in limbo and have no idea of when and how the foreseeable future will open up for them once again. Event Management professionals, however, being who they are, people used to handling thousands of foreseen and unforeseen worries at any given time in course of executing and running events smoothly, are not fazed by this and have taken this in their stride.

In this need of the hour, they have joined hands together and decided to show the true business spirit by converting this problematic situation into an opportunity to adapt and explore new avenues of conducting events. The 'One India Concert', a one of its kind of events where more 50 Artists are coming together on 1 Virtual platform to give scintillating power-packed performances on 31st May, which happens to be World Event Managers Day too. Prominent bodies of India such as Indian Performing Right Society (IPRS) and Phonographic Performance Limited (PPL) have also joined hands with IEPA for this historic event.

Sanjeev De, One of the prominent members of the Indian Event Professionals Association has been hard at work with over three hundred members of the association from across India to design and develop new normal for their Industry.

31st of May 2020 will thus see a new dawn, and possibly history being made in India, as a team of event conceptualizers, executors, performers and tech wizards get together on a single platform to launch India's first Virtual Concert By Event Managers for Event Managers – The One India Concert. This event is being planned to scale up to a massive level on multiple social media platforms and channels. The event will see national participation from all regions of India with celebrities, partici- pants, and audience members tuning in from Assam, Bihar, Karnataka, Punjab, Kerala, Bengal, etc to watch this momentous concert.

One India Concert will feature over fifty top artists like Sumit Saini - the winner of the third season of The Voice, Vipin Aneja - a melodious Bollywood playback singer, Manan Desai - one of the top-most standup comedian in India, Abhijit Ghosal- Versatile Bollywood playback singer who has performed in movies like London Dreams, Shibani Kashyap - the accomplished Bollywood singer, Pavni Pandey Bollywood Singer for songs like Lalila for Raees, Bobby Cash - the Indian country music singer- songwriter, Megha Sampat - the celebrity choreographer for many reality shows and film stars, and Fal- guni Brahmbhatt who debuted as a Bollywood singer in the movie Ek Andekha Sach and many more who will perform and show their solidarity with the Event Managers.

The 'One India Concert' will also touch upon the human aspect of COVID, and will aim to raise funds for those suffering from hardships during COVID times, and will aim to provide a good sustainable way ahead for a lot of talent and skilled workers associated with the industry.
