Little did a girl born in Valsad; Gujarat knew that life would take her to places. Well, this could be taken seriously in the case of Mrs. Vanshika Verma Khare who had a childhood full of transfers from one city to another since her father late Shri Krishna Kumar Verma was a railway officer. And, little did the little Vanshika then knew that she would get married to an IPS officer Mr. Abhinav Khare who would again take her along to different places as his job would require transfers.

Vanshika who believed once that she could not make a career after marriage turned the tables around & showed the society that anything gets possible when one decides to & makes up his/her mind. Vanshika who had completed her engineering from Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Pune got her first placement in HCL, Noida. After giving 6 months to the company, she married Abhinav. Since then Vanshika never wanted to sit idle at home & so she decided to do her M.Tech from Mysore to become a lecturer in engineering colleges in Karnataka.

Well, during her pregnancy, her mother & astrologer Mrs. Rajni Verma, advised her to take up any creative work that would keep her busy but at the same time also asked her to finish the work before giving birth to the child. So, life took a turn for Vanshika when in Mysore she happened to meet a few people who were learning to play keyboard but faced difficulties as the book they referred to had complicated staff notations. This was the moment when Vanshika herself a keyboard player decided to write a music book which would be easy for anyone to understand. And, keeping in mind the advice from her mother, Vanshika went ahead, wrote the book & even launched it in the gracious presence of Kannada superstar Darshan Thoogudeepa, when her daughter Shambhavi was only 6 months old.

As a student too Vanshika was always an active player & participant in school in table tennis, chess, acting, dancing & various other fields, but she proudly admits that keyboard playing has remained her dearest hobby as she learned the same from her father & learnt notations as well from him.

Her books "Playing Keyboard Made Easy Volume 1" & Volume 2 have been written using scientific pitch notation system (this was a new concept & even the Internet did not provide song notations & chords using scientific pitch notation system) that uses keys C,D,E,F,G,A,B. Unlike other books, her books do not make use of any staff notations, which gets difficult for people to understand & usually requires training. But, with the help of her books, one can read the notations easily either on a keyboard or any piano app as the naming style used in her books & the piano apps are the same. The book also offers insightful information & theory for a person to know more about the keyboard, naming of the keys & to play songs with the help of the book.

Both her books are independent versions & have different songs except that volume 2 has a bit more of theory added. However, both the books are filled with Bollywood songs including the old & the new. Till now, both her books have been received positively by many making it the 'Bestseller' on Amazon. With that success roaring for her, Vanshika managing her daughter & home simultaneously wrote the third edition as well which was recently published on amazon.com & within 2 months will also get published on Indian marketplaces like amazon.in, Flipkart.

She admits to getting her inspiration from Chetan Bhagat, Twinkle Khanna, Preeti Shenoy, and Savi Sharma. Actor Zayed Khan was the first to appreciate the idea of her book. Nagoor Babu, Indian playback singer, actor, producer & Dr. Sarvamangala Shankar, a Ph.D. holder in music both appreciated her books. The foreword of her book is also written by a Karnataka based singer Sangeetha Ravindranath.

Nobody had ever thought before of making people learn keyboard by writing a music book using scientific pitch notation system & with this novel concept, creating & writing her music books, Vanshika not only made it simple for keyboard enthusiasts to learn the art easily but also created a beautiful journey for herself as a writer.
