Lightning claims two lives
Vizianagaram: The sudden thunderstorms followed by the lightnings have claimed two lives in the outskirts of Vizianagaram. On Friday P.Yerribabu aged 28 years and A.Suresh aged 26 of Chakalipeta village went out with their livestock for rearing those animals. All of sudden the thunderstorms have started and the duo tried to reach back their home but they stopped at mango orchard for shelter .But the both were knocked down by a lightning and lost their lives on the spot. Locals found them dead and the bodies were sent to maharaja general hospital for postmortem.S.Srinu, S.Venkatesh and K.Pentaiah of the same village ,who were in the spot are injured and sent to hospital for treatment.

Kurnool News: National level Lok Adalat on September 11
The district fifth additional magistrate, Ammanna Raju has stated that a National level Lok Adalat would be organized on 11th September at Allagadda court premises. In a press release the magistrate has stated that several cases are pending since years. Due to various reasons between the parties, the cases are unable to dispose.
The magistrate has stated that it is of no use to fight the case and wait for lengthy years for the results. Instead, it is far better if both parties compromise and sort out the issue amicable in Lok Adalat. This will help the parties to save time and money.

Andhra Pradesh News: Police seize 30 liquor bottles
The police personnel of the Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) have seized 30 liquor bottles of various brands that are being transported from Telangana state. While conducting vehicle check at the Panchalingala border check post on Friday, two persons were caught with the liquor bottles. The liquor bottles have been seized besides arresting the transporters.
The seized liquor bottles, one motor bike and the arrested persons were all handed over to Kurnool Taluka police for initiating further action, stated the Circle Inspector, P Srinivasulu.

Andhra Pradesh: 150 members allowed attending functions
The district collector, P Koteshwara Rao has said that large number of marriages and other functions are likely to celebrate on the auspicious occasion of Shravana masam. Last year, due to prevailing covid restrictions, several marriages have been postponed and some other has organized formally. He said, now the restrictions are relaxed and are allowed 150 members to participate in the marriages and other functions.
He said, the purohits have stated that more than 200 marriages are likely to perform in this month. The attendants are advised to strictly follow covid norms. Every attendant should wear mask, maintain social distance besides sanitizing hands during every interval.
