    Covid-19: Telangana registers 748 new cases; 8 deaths

    As many as 748 fresh cases of Covid-19 were registered in Telangana till 5.30 pm on Sunday. A total of eight deaths were also registered today.

    With this increase, the number of Covid-19 cases in Telangana has increased to 6,20,613 while the death toll has reached 3,635. A total of 1,492 people have also recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours which increased the total number of recoveries to 6,02,676. As against India's fatality rate of 1.3%, the fatality rate in Telangana is 0.58%.

    A total of 81,405 Covid-19 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours taking the total number of tests conducted so far to 1,83,27,887. As of today, there are 14,302 Active Cases in Telangana State.

    While 121 new cases have been registered in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits, the number of cases remained below 100 in the remaining 32 districts of Telangana. No fresh cases were reported in three districts of Adilabad, Kamareddy and Komarambheem Asifabad.

    Andhra Pradesh has reported as many as 4250 new coronavirus cases in the last twenty-four hours as of Sunday against the tests conducted for about 95,327 people.
