Andhra Pradesh News: The Polavaram project works are progressing fast ever since YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh from May 2019. The Megha Engineering and Infrastructure Ltd company has completed the construction of 52 Polavaram Spillway Pillars at a height of 52 meters. In order to undertake the construction of the spillway, pillars have to be constructed at a height of 52 meters and due to the construction of Fish Ladder in the 2nd block of Spillway, the construction of the 2nd pillar is delayed due to delay in approvals for its designs. However, MEIL has recently completed the construction of all the pillars up to the slab level i.e. an average height of 52 m after getting all the approvals. Read Full Story

Telangana Graduate MLC Elections 2021: The schedule for graduates' MLC election has been released. The election commission will announce the election notification on February 16. Telangana MLC Graduates Elections 2021: Council Election on March 16

Election Commission on Thursday issued the schedule for the two MLC seats under the Graduates quota. The election will be held on March 22.

The commission would issue notification on February 16, the last date of filing nomination is February 23, scrutiny nominations would be taking place on February 24. The last date for withdrawal of nominations is February 26. The election will be held on March 16. The timing for polling will be from 8 am to 4 pm. Results would be declared on March 17.
