V Ramu Sarma in his article [India, heading for a hung Parliament?] dated27-04-2019 has rightly said that Narendra Modi is asking votes in the name of soldiers who lost their lives in the Pulwama attack. Narendra Modi claimed that under his leadership India is terror-free.

But what about Pulwama attack? Is it not a terror attack in your regime where 40 CRPF troopers were killed?. How was 100 kg of explosives carried to Pulwama?. Is it not your failure? Prime minister is constantly flouting guidelines and violating norms which have been laid down as ground rules for all political parties.

Along with Modi many BJP leaders are calling soldiers as "Modi ki sena"in election rallies but Election Commission failed to take cognizance into the matter. In every election rally Modi is boasting that because of your one vote I was able to carry Balakot attack.

Is it not violating the election norms?

Indira Gandhi never claimed her greatness while fighting a war with Pakistan. In fact, she gave credit to our soldiers. We have India- Pakistan war, Indo-China war, Kargil war, but never did any of the then prime minister seek votes in the name of fighting a war or in the name of martyrs.

PM was running away from press conference or any political interview. But suddenly he brought actor Akshay Kumar and gave interview and tele -cast into all channels.

This is also violating norms, but election commissioner is silent. Modi failed to keep up his promise like depositing 15 lakhs in every person's account, two crore job to unemployed youth and failed in curbing black money.

Now he is banking on surgical strikes and asking votes in the name of martyrs. It is sure that Modi will get befitting reply in these elections.
